Position Overview:

Responsible for supporting development, maintenance and projects for Sutter Health Mills-Peninsula Medical Center facilities management program. The role includes supporting the strategic design and implementation of the programs/ projects, including the interface with related system office service lines, Facility & Property Services service lines, and affiliate facility teams. The work of this role can inform leadership for decision making regarding operations, costs and projecting future capital expenses to maintain Sutter Health owned and operated assets. This position will follow departmental processes in performing tasks that may include but are not limited to coordinating facility services, project management, department technology support, vendor contract management, vendor management, finance management, and energy management.

This is an in-person position five days a week in either the Burlingame or San Mateo campus @ Sutter Health Mills-Peninsula Medical Center.

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and business communications computer software programs, Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Yardi and/or other real estate asset management software is preferred. Skills in identifying, researching/ analyzing and creatively resolving problems.

Familiarity with the State of California building approval processes, including OSHPD, SFM and municipal discretionary approvals.

Familiarity with healthcare construction building codes and regulations, space programming, allocation costs analysis and contract negotiation.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, manage and balance multiple interests, and resolve conflicts.

Pay Range is $49.43 to $74.15 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
