Responsible for designing and implementing EE Consumer bad debt provision strategy and enhancement, c£30m cost, maintaining performance against internal and external benchmark. Delivering a reliable forecast for CFU finance stakeholder and ensuring month end processing is timely and accurate and managed consistently

What you’ll be doing

• Lead EE Consumer (Airtime & Home) design and implementation of bad debt provision strategy and enhancement, ensuring monthly P&L debt risk is transparent and managed consistently, whilst identifying and maintaining balance sheet integrity.

• Validating and maintaining end to end integrity of EE Consumer bad debt provision, termination revenue and WCAP models.

• Entry point for audit and regulatory compliance, liaising with external and internal auditors delivering audit requirements and ensuring on-going compliance.

• Lead rolling forecasting linking in commercial view of sales acquisitions, cohort performances of customers to develop an robust models including bad debt, termination revenue and WCAP

• Supporting new and on-going project requirements across CR&F. To identify and lead housekeeping exercises to ensure GDPR compliance.

The experience you'll have

• A fully qualified accountant or possessing further qualifications to support their specialisation, with significant post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Proficiency in clear and concise communication, capable of articulating the business's performance to diverse non-finance audiences.

• A pragmatic team player who excels at holding others accountable through a challenging yet supportive approach, consistently fulfilling their own commitments.

• Strong skills in managing multiple stakeholders and projects within tight deadlines, coupled with the ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity.

• Demonstrates leadership, champions causes, and adeptly manages conflicting priorities.
